Bird feeders help us see the birds and hear them sing. The other day a cardinal perched on an overhead wire 10 feet from me. He was just singing his heart out.

My friend Margaret has a bird feeder. She filled it the other day..but no birds came....She said, "I got to wondering so I inspected...I had put in some plant fertilizer...that was in a similar bag right next to the bird seed...."

Every once in awhile we need to laugh at our selves.
