Gospel Choir again

It was good to be back in Gospel Choir last night. The messages of gospel music are so good, so heart true.

One of my favorites that we have learned is a song called "I need you to survive," by Hezekiah Walker. The lyrics depict a heart that is reaching out, seeking a friend, longing for wholeness, begging for relational completeness. It is a good illustration of how we should think of one another, and how we should treat one another.

I NEED YOU TO SURVIVE
I need you You need me We’re all a part of God’s body
Stand with me Agree with me We’re all a part of God’s body
It is his will that every need be supplied
You are important to me I need you to survive

I pray for you You pray for me I love you I need you to survive
I won’t harm you With words from my mouth
I love you I need you to survive.
It is his will that every need be supplied
You are important to me. I need you to survive

I need you You need me. We’re all a part of God’s body.
Stand with me. Agree with me. We’re all a part of God’s body.
It is his will that every need be supplied.
You are important to me I need you to survive.

Friends, we need one another. Every member of the body is important. This is the day that the Lord has made. It is a day that he has given us to love one another.

Its a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
