Known or Experienced

There is a Christianity that can be known, and there is a Christianity that is experienced.  To think about grace is one thing.  To experience grace is something else altogether.

It is difficult to explain to someone who only knows the principles of the faith, what it means to experience the Christ.  You can’t explain dry land to a fish.  They have no paradigm for it.  They will consider you to be crazy.

But friends, there is an experience of Christ.  Paul met him on the road to Damascus.  A woman met him at the well.  Meeting Jesus and experiencing him has been the most significant event of my life.

I pray that the spirit would touch you this day, and make the risen Christ real.
