three rules

John Wesley had three simple rules that he lived by. 

1. Do no harm. 
2. Do good. 
3. Stay in Love with God.

They seem pretty simple to follow or are they easier to fall away from?

Harm. Forget about the big harm like killing what about everyday stuff like getting angry at someone? Doing good. For me some days are better than others. And, the third rule, stay in love with God. 

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Maybe a focus first on the third rule would make ability to do #1 and #2 much easier….
