One of them quoted Eccl 3 "there is a time to plant and a time to uproot." The other note said
, "bloom where you are planted." I had preached from Eccl 3 in May and I wonder if that was on the sender's mind.
I am not sure if it came from someone in Cape or someone in KC, but I assume KC since folks there might know that I like iris. Whoever sent it, I want to thank you for the message. There is a time to plant and a time to uproot. Uprooting is never very easy, but we do need to learn to bloom where we are planted. I think the trick is to remember that we are created to focus not so much on being uprooted as the blooming.
Bloom today. Show the world your beauty.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
