free hugs

One of my favorite sermons of all time was the one about free hugs.

When I was a young pastor, you could hug anyone.  Then came boundaries training and you had to be careful.  Now hugs must be initiated by others.  I can still hug you, but you have to tell me that you desire that.

Hugs are wonderful  Hugs are healing.  But remember that you must let me know if you want a hug.  There are many people in this life that are looking for a bit of warmth.  hug them.
