My good friend Pat Stark said a few years ago in a sermon, if you think you are grateful, but do not express it, it does not count. I am sure that I have written about this before, but it is on my mind again.
If you love someone but don't tell them, does that count? If you are thankful, but do not say thank you, does that count?
Think of the power that is unleashed when we don't just think about how we love our kids, but we actually tell them. Think about the joy that is released to a person when we smile, look them in the eye and say thank you.
My entire life growing up my parents loved me, but for some reason, could not say it. I am glad that they loved me, but oh, it would have been nice to know it at the time. I do not want my children to ever doubt that I love them.
If you love someone, tell them. If you are thankful, say thank you. You will be glad that you did.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Amen!!!!! I am thankful my parents told me they loved me. It was and is still wonderful! I have also tried to leave no doubt with my kids that I Love them. Jeff with your love and kindness I have learned to extend those expressions to family, friends and people I meet or encounter in my daily activities. Thank You! I Love You! Have a Great Day in God's World!
