a choice

I was talking with a new friend the other day. They said something that intrigued me. She said this, "each of us must decide every day, on every issue, whether life is a battle or a banquet."

The word banquet is found 32 times in scripture, the word feast, 94. There are lots of banquets in the Kingdom.

Humans like to turn things into a battle. Jesus talked over and over again about banquets. Banquets where everyone is invited, where the broken are healed, where the outcasts are welcomed in, where all sit together at the Master's table.
