Winter in Florida is a bit different than winter in the mid-west. Here in Florida, the lows get into the high 40's and the highs are usually in the upper 60's or 70's.
We had a cold one the other day. I left the doors and windows open all day to let the cold air come in. There was a crispness in the air. That night the house cooled off to 64 degrees. I am not turning on the furnace. I had to pile on the blankets. It was a three dog night. It reminded me of those protracted periods in Kansas City winter time when the furnace was running, the fireplace was burning and every one ran around the house in winter clothes. Didn't matter what you did, you could not stay warm.
So it was here the other day. A cold, multiple blanket night. Brrr.
Today is a new day. Shorts, flip flops and a high of 75.
It's a beautiful day in God's world be sure to see the good.
