repetition

There is a value in repetition.

We learned our multiplication tables by repeating them over and over.  Most anything that we learn, we learn because we practice that thing until it becomes engrained in our being.

Love is the same.  I cannot apologize for speaking to you and to myself, over and over again about love.  We must repeat the lesson.  We must repeat and emphasize the point.  For the only way to get the principles of love to take root deep down in our hearts is to keep bringing them up to our minds over and over.

I believe that we default to selfishness until we finally learn to swing the pendulum the other way.  It can be done.  Keep loving.  Keep trying.  Keep practicing.  Keep challenging yourself.

Love is accomplished by practice.  Practice makes perfect.  Never feel bad because you are hearing about love again.  Never complain about another sermon on love.

When can we hear it enough?  When can we have enough love?
