selfishness

I expect to see selfish children. I do not expect to see selfish adults. I expect adults to somewhere, along the way, to have grown up.

But oh my!!! There are some folks who grow older, but never grow up. Selfishness is a terrible thing. Selfishness is an ugly thing.  Someone said that selfishness is not a word, it is a sentence.

To know that there is so much good that could be done, but it’s not on the table, because someone’s life is only about them. May we all rise above selfishness.
