There is always something to learn. We humans like to think that we know a lot. We like to think that we are smart. Our experience brings us a great deal of information. But there is always more to learn.
When I moved to Florida, I learned that plants grow forever with out the presence of a winter freeze. I learned that the salt air is detrimental to things like air conditioners. An A/C unit that might last 20 years in Missouri has a life span of more like 10 years in Florida if you are close to the beach.
Then there was this annoying lesson. If you leave a hose with a metal end on a spigot long enough, you will never get it off. Something in the salt air fuses the two metals together. I spoke with a plumber the other day who told me that he worked for an hour to remove a sprayer from a hose end and could not get it loose. A plumber!!!
So, odd as it sounds, when I get a new hose, I cut off the metal end and put on a plastic one. Problem solved.

There is always something to learn if we are open to do so.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
