So I was going into Sam's Club and I saw this group raising money for a trip to Washington DC. I had one $20 bill in my wallet. Now I wanted to help them, but not $20 worth. So I thought about this while I was in the store. What should I do. Then I figured that lots of people just walk by and do nothing for them.
So when I came out of Sam's I stopped and talked with them. I stepped out on a limb... I asked them if they could break a $20 bill. They said yes of course. I gave them $5. Then I asked them if that was generous of me or cheap. They laughed.
Was that a generous act? Or a cheap act?
I'm still thinking about that....
