Barbara Bass

Barbara Bass was a lovely woman with a huge heart. When she smiled at you, she made you feel like you mattered. She passed away a few weeks ago after a long battle with cancer.  She will be missed.

She did a good deal of journaling during her illness. Some of what she wrote was read at her memorial service... I found these words of hers to be quite profound...

Don’t be afraid of death,
Be afraid of unlived life.
You don’t have to live forever,
You just have to live.
