"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." Emily Dickenson
Dickenson was an American poet... she died in 1886. She was 56 years old. And yet, in those short 56 years, she saw that life was sweet.
I remember being 13. I will never be 13 again. I remember my 40th birthday party. Some of you were there... I will never be 40 again.
Today is a day which will not repeat. It is a singular gift that I can use to share joy or to be selfish. Seals and Crofts wrote, "we shall never pass this way again."
Let's make this day and every moment of this day count. This is the only July 29, 2024 that we will ever have. Let's us radiate and enjoy it's sweetness.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
