Someone was rude the other day. Someone cut me off in traffic. Someone is routinely nasty to me.
I want to fight back. I want to get even. I want to get revenge.
But if I do, I am giving in to a lesser life. If I retaliate I put myself on their level. If I allow my mind to linger on what has happened, it will poison my mood.
As they sang in the movie Frozen, "Let it go..." Just let it go. Release that person. Refuse to relive the moment. Lean away from the pain and towards the joy.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
