lay down

I had a friend.  Sadly, he passed.  His name was Jerry and he loved to say, "lay down until the feeling goes away."

People would ask for his advice about buying cars and things.  He would simply say, "lay down until the feeling goes away."

Last week one of my kids had the feeling.  I didn't even have to say anything.  A few days later, they said, "Dad, I laid down, and guess what, the feeling went away."

Next time that you want something and you can't help yourself, just lay down and stay down until the feeling goes away.

You will be glad that you did.
