I thought of this the other day... years ago an arrogant person pronounced that they could "buy and sell me."
I didn't say anything at the time. I walked away. I didn't know what to say. The words that were said and the attitude were so stinky and repulsive.
Later though, as I thought of those words, I found a reply. You say that you can buy and sell me? Well the problem is, I am not for sale. You don't get to control me.
May we all strive in this life to flee from arrogance and embrace humility and kindness. I'll buy that.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
