Let me extrapolate... In order to secure the concept of God, in order to stay close to God, in order to feel like we understand God, we humans create images... Maybe a stone idol, maybe a church sanctuary, maybe a collection of doctrines. Yet, any God that can be defined by man, is but a shadow of man, a creation of man, a figment of His true being.
God is bigger than our doctrines, he is bigger than our notions of him.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to be the good.
