Lived

A friend shared a quote with me from Shane Clairborne.  It went something like this:  “Most good things have been said far too many times, and just need to be lived.”

Think of all of the talk that goes on about Christianity.  Dialog about this and that.  Arguing, discussing, yakking.  There is much talk and many words about Christianity.

Oh, for those who would just live it.  I don’t mean, “behave,” or “be good.”  I mean, love your neighbor as yourself, turn the other cheek, and take up your cross.  These good words have been said many times.  They just need to be lived.

It’s a beautiful day in God’s world, be sure to see the good.
