Hey dad how about a catch?
We have ball gloves in KC and in Florida. That is just in case someone wants to play catch. I persuaded Jenny to catch with me the other day. She apologized, she said, “I am not as good at this as I used to be.” I thought.... “neither am I!!”
Thankfully, playing catch isn’t about being good. It is about doing it. It's about spending the time. It is an activity that puts two people in proximity and face to face. It is a time to talk. It is a time to remember when we did this when we were young.
Buy some used gloves. Invite someone to have a catch. You will be glad that you did. It is somehow quite therapeutic.
It’s a beautiful day in God’s world, be sure to see the good.
