The Saints. Not the New Orleans Saints, but those uniquely holy Christians. Those recognized officially by the Catholic church in history and those others who we would put in that category whether the church did or not. Maybe a parent, a grandparent, a Sunday School teacher, in your heart is a saint.
What makes a saint? Many people believe in Jesus. Saints do more. I had a thought the other day. It went like this.... Saints are those who live lives of love and who teach us to love.
Pretty simple. I'll bet if you find someone who loves and teaches others to love, you might consider them to be a saint. May we all aspire to be more than just those people who believe in Jesus. May we aspire to love and teach others so to do.
