Scott Connors

So I was writing a blog post and I thought of my very low maintenance friend Scott Connors.  He reads this stuff every day.  That makes him a bit off.  If you read this stuff every day, you might be a bit nuts.

We have had so many wonderful moments over the years.  I am crying as I think back.  I remember when we were playing softball, you played for the Possums, I played poorly for the Armadillos.  I had to release an employee that you were close to.  I was very worried about losing you from the church.  We had a long talk about it, and I was so happy that you were able to hear me and stay, even though I know it was hard.

I think of all the times that we ran into each other randomly at Paddy's or where ever.  I was always glad to see you.  You were always kind.  Sarcastic, but kind.  You were always a source of solid, stable advice on the Board of Trustees.  I remember talks that we had in my office.  Times we laughed, times we cried.

Life is good.  I am glad I ran into you along the way.  If you ever need a place to stay in Florida, call me.  I love you.
