The elephant and the flea

I have a dear friend who has a loving adult child who thinks that he is the source of the love.  He does not acknowledge God as the source of  the love in his life.

So for those who think that God is not under girding and upholding things, there is an old story about an elephant and a flea. The flea lived in the elephants ear. One day the elephant walked across a wooden bridge. The bridge shook and swayed. The flea said, "man did we shake that bridge!"

For all of those out there who think that God is not the source of the love... I don't believe that God is offended by that... God simply still loves.  Our adult children who think this way have still experienced love and the elephant still carries the flea.

It's a beautiful day in God's world be sure to see the good.
