Don't care

Jesus did not care that she was a prostitute.  They were not going to talk about that.  It was not the issue.  Loving her was the issue.

Jesus did not care that he was a tax collector and cheated people.  It was not going to be the issue.  The issue was not going to be about how he had to change.  The topic was simply how much God loved him.

Jesus did not care about people's brokenness.  He did not focus on that.  He just welcomed them and loved them.

We humans, especially some religious people, love to make it about who the good ones are and who the bad ones are.  Along the way, love is kicked to the curb.  It is not about your sins.  It is not about what you did or are doing wrong.  You are just loved.

I don't care about your past.  I don't care about your sins.  I care about you.  I love you.  Mercy rejoices over judgement.  James 2:13

Stop thinking about what you did wrong.  Jesus isn't.  Love yourself.  Jesus is.
