The sacred desk

Granddaughter Bella is visiting from Chicago!

The pulpit has been referred to as the sacred desk.  It is the place where imperfect men and women stand to try to deliver a helpful message to the congregation.

It had been almost two years since I last preached.  I thank Pastor Tim Barton for the opportunity to speak on Sunday December 4.  It was a great privilege.  

I had not worn a tie in almost 2 years!  It felt good to put on what I call, "the holy clothes."
