Some Christians love to make lists of who the good ones are, and who the bad ones are. The good ones, of course, are always the people like them. The bad ones are people that have the wrong beliefs, the wrong relationships, the wrong politics, and the wrong version of Christianity. Just about anything that the group deems to be "wrong."
I would like to point out here that the only groups/people that Jesus singled out as being "wrong" were the Pharisees. And ironically, they were the ones who were telling everyone else who was in and who was out.
In our world, who are the folks that are drawing lines between who is in and who is out? Stay away from them. They are going to be surprised when they get to heaven. They are going to be surprised when they find in heaven: a Roman Centurion, a thief from the cross, a woman who had six husbands, a tax collector and so on.
Please do not spend your life focused on who is in and who is out. Jesus brought everyone into the circle. He was loved because he opened his arms to the broken and needy. All nations will stream to God's mountain.
The banquet table in heaven is really big. Jesus put his arms around everyone. We that call ourselves his followers, should follow that example.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
