thinking

A few years ago, someone shared this quote with me:

 "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Aristotle

I love it. It is a reminder that we do not have to be threatened just because an idea is different than what we may hold to.   The world is full of angry retorts to ideas that people don't agree with.  What would the world look like if we were all able to think and let others think?  What would the world look like if we could actually entertain a thought without being threatened by it?

Personally, I learn more from people who think differently than I do.
