Good Friday

I no longer believe that God has to kill something to be happy.

I used to believe that God killed Jesus so he didn't have to kill us.  I don't believe that any more.

What I do believe is that sacrifice is a sign of love.

Good Friday is proof that God loves us.

To willingly make a sacrifice for the benefit of others is a sign of love. Good parents do it for their children.  Friends make sacrifices for each other.

Jesus gives himself up. It shows the immense depth and width of God's love for us.

That is why they call it Good.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
