The new year still feels new to me. I wonder how long that can last. So far, I don't think I have upset anyone or made any major mistakes. I have written several checks, and I have not put the wrong year in one time!
It is a good feeling. There is this sense of joy that I have a fresh start. Since Christmas I have felt very peaceful and good. I wonder if I can make it the entire year? Maybe I am growing older and more steady. Maybe I am growing up.
Wouldn't it be great to have a year, or the rest of my life, without worry. Lord, let us rest in you and please bless us all with peace and joy.
