loneliness

I was watching a movie the other night called "All is Lost."  It stars Robert Redford as a man on a sailboat, alone and in trouble in the middle of the ocean.

I had to watch in sections as the feelings of loneliness were so powerful.

I thought of so many people who feel lonely.  I thought about how we can feel lonely even with a house full of people.

I thought about the remedy for loneliness.  To me, that remedy is friends.  We all need them.  People to talk to, people to sit with, people who care.
