Why I attend church... Heck. I am retired. I don't have to go. I have heard and or preached almost everything that will come from the pulpit.
Why do I go? Sometimes my pastor says something that I need to hear. Sometimes, often, the music is good for my heart. But most of all, I go because of people that I love there. My friends, my besties, my connections. Also I go to church because in doing so, I am a small part of blessing the world with missions ministries. I could never do the shower ministry by myself. I could never do the feeding programs by myself. But by my activity and support of the church, I am a part of something much bigger, something that it takes a community to do.
I hope that you have found some connection in your local church. In my experience, it is good for our soul.
