My son plays a lot of video games. Most of them involve some kind of combat. In many of them there is a feature where you can either heal an injured person, or your character can be a healer.
Oh to be a healer.
If I could heal you I would. If I could ease your pain I would. If I could put my hand on your knee, your back or your pancreas and heal it, I would.
If I could heal your heart, I would. A hug, a kiss, a sit down talk, a prayer, the magical ambiance of just being together, whatever it took, I would heal you. If I could.
I love you.
May we all heal as many people as we can.
