The Zoo

Last Friday I went to the zoo with my daughter Allison and her children, my grandchildren:  Bella age 5 and Cruz age 2 1/2.

How long has it been since I was at the zoo?  Probably since my children were young.... 25 years anyway.   Well, the Melbourne Florida zoo is awesome.

Lots of shade, lots of animals that you can see, a train ride and lots of children's activities.

We were told that this is a very nice giraffe.
Willing to stick his neck out for anyone.

Two lovely bald eagles.  Both left flightless
after accidents.  Very nice to see.

Bobcat.  Don't let your domestic cats outside in Florida.

Flamingos think they are smart.  
They are always trying to get a leg up on you.
