Thoughts on prayer

I think that you can pray for whatever you want.  I encourage you to avoid selfish prayers, but pray as you wish.

Remember that prayer is not ultimately about me getting what I want.  Prayer is about aligning my heart and life with God.  

Some say, prayer changes things.  I say, true prayer changes me.

Pray as you wish, just always end your prayers with this statement, "and no matter what the answer is, no matter the outcome, I/We put our trust in you."

Pray as you wish but trust God no matter what happens.
