A man is sitting at home reading the paper one night. There is a knock at the door. He goes to the door and opens it. No one there. Then he looks down and there is a snail on the mat. He almost missed the little guy. Annoyed, he picks him up and throws him out across the front yard. He shuts the door and goes back to the newspaper.
Six months later there is another knock at the door. The man opens the door. It's the same snail. The snail says to the man, "Hey! What was that for???"
I hadn't thought of that joke for a long time. I love it. Every now and then we just need a good laugh.
