Resentment is a prison that holds you more so than the person you resent.  They may not even know that you harbor ill will, but your life will be dominated by pain every time you think of them, until you release them.  By holding onto resentment, you give them power over your life.  Only you can change that.

Loving your enemies isn't just  good for them.  It's good for you too.  Release them and in so doing, free yourself to live and to love.
