retirement thoughts part 1

So, on the one hand, this is a lot of fun.  I wake up in the morning when I want to.  No pressure.  I say to myself, "What will I do today?"  My self answers, "I don't know, what day is it?"  I talk to my kids and they can't wait for the weekend.  I ask myself.... what is a weekend?

My typical day consists of working around the house in the morning.  Painting something.  Building something.  Trimming palm trees.  If I have handyman work for someone else, of course that takes precedence.

In the afternoon I swim and read.  At night I watch movies.  Sometimes we go out for dinner.

Honestly I am having a blast but I feel kind of guilty.  Should I?

It's a beautiful carefree day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

No, you shouldn't feel guilty. Retirement makes you appreciate people in service more. It gives you time to give back. More relaxed time with God without thinking about all the things you have to do.
