nice handshakes

I beg your understanding.  I don't know if my hand is broken or bruised. Probably bruised.  I have been shaking too many hands.  I can't stop though.  But some of you have great grips - really confident, sometimes even bone crushing handshakes.

Please be nice to my old hand on Sunday.  It is tired and sore.

And if that is the only problem that I have, then it's surely a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Jeff, I'm sorry your hand is hurting, but you bring up such a great point. We all need to be careful when shaking hands. I learned something a long time ago, when a dear friend had rheumatoid arthritis.

When you shake someone's hand, be careful not to squeeze their hand. If they have even mild or moderate arthritis, a too firm handshake really hurts their hand.
