In some ways, that can be a tough pill to swallow. A premature death - beautiful? Financial distress - beautiful? and so on.
Each of us must decide though, if we will focus on what we have lost or focus on what we found. Every loss brings a gain. Every emptiness brings new opportunities. If we fight life, nothing seems beautiful, but if we lean into God, things start to clear up.
Somehow almost everything is connected. No life, no day, no moment, no person is a waste. It all matters. As if God is working in and through, and all around it all.
When I remember that God is in the middle of a thing, it does begin to feel beautiful, even though it may be painful at first.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
