Wait.  Don't say anything just yet.  Don't act just yet.  Wait.  Cool down.  Our actions and our words are always more pointed and difficult when we are upset.

It you talk to your children when you are angry about what they did, all they will remember is your anger.  Wait.  Cool off.  Let the pain subside.  Then you can talk to someone out of the best of your heart instead of the worst.

We all want to be heard.  We want others to "get" us.  We think our message is important.  Doesn't it just make sense to wait until the tension is eased so that our message can get through?  Cool off before you talk or act.  Wait.  It won't hurt, it will only help.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
