This is probably not going to be a very popular post.
We are probably ok. I listen to people all the time that are worried about America. They watch the news and worry about everything. The news makes one want to worry about everything. They enver tell the good stuff.
Yes I know that this is where we live and it is our home, but it is no more important to God than Ireland or Egypt. I will bet if Jesus walked from France into Spain, he would feel the same. No different. The earth is the Lord's. I wonder if some people love America more than they love God.
No nation has lasted longer than the Roman Empire. Depending on how you count, the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire lasted about 600 years. If history holds true, and it usually does, America will not last forever, but will someday morph into something else.
Another thought about Rome... they are thought of as the greatest empire in history, yet during a span of 500 years, from 91 BC to 398 AD they has 18 civil wars. Entire armies, legions turning against one another. They survived them all.
With that knowledge in hand, we, we Americans are probably ok.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, and it is God's world, be sure to see the good.

I hope we Are ok but also glad I'm as old as I am - don't want to experience the changes that may be inedibly coming
