to confide

To confide is to share something private with someone that you trust.

A few weeks ago, a friend confided in me. We talked about the issue. I hope that it was helpful. After the fact, I thought about how special it was, it is to feel trusted. How special it was that this person confided in me.

I hope you have someone that you can talk to when you need to talk.
