[from my friend Kim B]
Eeyore asks Pooh, "How do you forgive someone who never thought that they did something wrong?"
Pooh responds... “Perhaps forgiveness isn’t always something we give because they deserve it, Eeyore.”
Jeff adds a thought... I forgive those who hurt me because if I don't, I become caustic. I forgive them for my own mental health. And I forgive them because that is what I would want someone else to do for me. And as I work the process, I want them to do well. I want them to have good in their lives.
There are hundreds of ways to hold a grudge. None of them compare to the joy, to the gift of forgiveness.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to be the good.
