family

There are those moments when everyone is smiling and all is well. Don't let them go by without giving thanks to God. Because other moments may be coming where you will look at the pictures and remember the times and wonder.

Into each life a little rain must fall. Rain causes the flowers to grow. Sand irritates an oyster and produces a pearl. God makes all things beautiful in his time.

Look long term, keep busy and enjoy the pictures.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

It's still there Jeff. People can steal our material possessions, violate our homes with break ins, but they can never steal what you see in this photo, for the long term. Great picture. Full of love.

That is a GREAT picture. You have a beautiful family.

Although it sounds kind of lame, I really am thankful for cameras. Sometimes my old brain/mind just can't remember every detail of a face or a special occasion. The photos can really jog the memory and make you "smile!" all over again. ; )

I have felt your "rain" has been falling for a while. This is the most difficult time for parents when children are leaving home for the first time and we have to watch them make their own mistakes. It's like watching them out the window fall on their bikes, but we know we cannot go "make it all better", they must learn from their mistakes. This is the time when I learned how to turn things over to God and trust that He would be in charge. It makes our hearts "hurt", but it's comforting to know "this too shall pass". I've been through it all, my friend, drugs, alcohol abuse, bailing them out of jail, dealing with abusive relationships, etc. You have three wonderful kids and nobody's perfect! Please know that I'm praying for all of you as you transition through to the "other side" of parenting and adulthood. It doesn't get any easier, unfortunately, your prayers just change. Blessings and Love, Cara Mc
