My daughter started one for me before she left for college. She said that way I could keep up with what she was doing. I've only been on it three times since August. I can't get into it and I don't know how to use it. I talk with her every day on the phone when she's at school. Sometimes three or four times. And now a friend has given me a web cam so that I can 'skype' her and see her when we talk. So I'm thinking the Facebook thing can just be deleted. Since she's home for Christmas I think I'll have her do that because I'm not thinking I could figure it out. Not going to miss it at all. Guess I just prefer the 'face to face' kind of thing. Don't need to know all the stuff that gets posted by the kids. My daughter's friends know where and how to get me if they need me for anything, need to talk, need a place to stay .... I think several of them have actually spent more time at my house over break so far than they have at home. Each morning I count lumps in the beds and on the floor to determine how much food I may be needing for dinner. It's been wonderful! Even if they are eating me out of house and home.
