to smile

Imagine a day without a smile.   Someone said that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile.  A smile is a good thing.  A smile tells another person that you are friendly.  A smile makes your heart happy.  A smile can break a bad mood.  A smile is contagious.

Try it.  Smile.  Make my day.  Make someone else’s day.

It’s a beautiful day in God’s world, be sure to see the good.

I would sure like to smile. To be fair I don't have it so bad, a good family, a nice house, good health, so what's the problem? I cannot say I have a friend. No one calls or emails. I must do something wrong. I cannot remember the last time I received a call, email, text or an invitation to have coffee. At times I reach out, folks must be busy. No, I don't smile.

Dear Anonymous,
That's very sad. I think most of us have been in your place at least once in our lives. In truth, most of us probably feel alone more than we want to admit. You may email me if you'd like. I enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the company of Christian fellowship. :) cm_gragg@sbcglobal.net
