Holy Land Trip Day 1

Our group of 22 arrived in Newark New Jersey at 3pm on Monday.  Four from Kansas City, One from New York.  One from St. Louis and 16 from Florida.  We had a long layover and then a ten hour flight from Newark to Tel Aviv.  Getting there is always the worst part.

We arrived safely and spent the night in a wonderful hotel in Netanya.  In the morning we went touring.  Here are some of the sights that we saw:

View of Mediterranean Sea from our Hotel

I love the Roman aquaducts

Statue of Elijah on Mt. Carmel

View of Jezreel Valley from Mt. Carmel

Roman ruins at Beit She'an

Ampitheatre at Beit She'an
