which Jesus do you follow

Most of us were raised on a narrow, judgmental, tribal Jesus.  This Jesus saw the world the way I see the world.  This Jesus was managed and invented by our tribe.

When we really read the bible, we find that Jesus is not tribal.  He is not for the Baptists, not for the Methodists, not for the good, not for the sinners, not for the Christians, not for the Jews... not for any group over and against another.

Jesus was for everyone.  He looked past their tribe and just loved people.

Tax collectors = in
prostitutes = in
Thief on the cross = in
Samaritan = in

Don't let the tribal Jesus of your youth keep you from discovering the amazing Jesus of scripture.

Love one another.

It's a beautiful day in God's world be sure to see the good.
