Gold. Gold. Gold! There's gold in them thar hills! Humans apparently have a fascination with gold. For the last two years, all we have heard is "buy gold, buy gold, buy gold now!" Well, last night, in between dreams, I heard part of an infomercial that said, "sell your gold now."
Well doesn't that just confuse things. Buy it, sell it. Buy it sell it. Buyitsellit. Hurry. Worry. Sell your gold now. Or should we buy it?
I am reminded of something that Jesus said. "Do not store up your treasure on earth where moth and rust will corrupt it, where thieves can break in and steal, instead, store up your treasure in heaven when moth and rust will not destroy and thieves will not steal it. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Someone(s) was certainly into gold and earthly treasures at that jewelry store heist at the Plaza, last night. If you had posted this blog yesterday, Jeff, maybe that robbery wouldn't have occurred (ha.)
Thanks for continuing to "shine" for us, with all your great posts.
Gold is no different than any commodity, you try to buy it low and try to sell it high, just like pork bellies, Corn, land, Houses, real estate etc etc,...Gold is at an all time high now, many folks bought gold as a hedge and now have made a good profit, that they can give to the church buy food with or give to the poor...just like anyother profitable adventure.
remember don't invest more than you can afford to loose past perfomance does not insure future performance. Store your treasure in heaven is the only sure thing.
The fact I buy and sell gold has nothing to do with this post..but we could have a gold buying event at and for the church if you want....:-)
